Sent in my application. Wish me luck *crosses fingers*
Yesterday was extremely tiring. I did a ton of laundry (I didn't get a chance to before I left for Southern California, which left me a whopping 8 loads to contend with) got my book read for next week, and worked on my résumé (I know, I should have finished it, but I conked out around 9:30).
On the agenda for today? Get my program submitted to be signed by my program adviser, making me all candidate-official. But first, I'd like some more coffee please...

I did it. My candidacy papers are all filed! I chose not to do a thesis, opting instead to take an extra English ed class. My adviser (as well as a friend of the family that happens to be a teacher at Occidental College) said that this would be the best way to go, as more than likely I will not be going for my Ph.D. I'd much rather go the junior college or state school route as opposed to the university route. More contact with the students...
One more semester to go, y'all.Then I shall be infecting eager young adults with my weirdness :-)
